Rewrite The Script


Simply pausing once in a while to observe your automatic stream of thoughts–and the emotions that they stimulate–can help you to start deactivating any emotional scripts that you may be subconsciously running in your mind, and, therefore, reduce any stress and tension that you may be unconsciously holding onto that binds you to cycles of ongoing suffering.

In moments when annoyance, frustration, anxiety/fear, desire, judgment, etc., appear in your body-mind, shine the light of awareness on what is happening within you and free yourself from wandering lost, and aimlessly, through unconscious mind-fields that only lead to misery.

Being aware that something is driving a particular thought/emotion is a great way to start shining the light of awareness on what would have otherwise remained fully hidden from view, but powerfully influential in your life.

Be present, here and now, and know that, with continued practice, you can rewrite your stale and oppressive mental/emotional scripts and create a mind that supports your most joyful expression in the world.
