Practice Clear Seeing


Observe your mind without judgement…then do the same for others and the world.

Always remember that it is not so much what you observe that creates disturbance within you as much as it how you react to/perceive what you observe/think you observe that causes problems.

Some things are frustrating, annoying, pleasurable, scary, and so forth to look at/experience, but do not get swept away by emotions.

Simply observe the sensations that your observations (of anything) triggers in your body, and look neutrally at the thoughts that arise as a result.

Just look and see what happens…

Practice seeing what is happening in the moment so that you can eventually graduate to clearly seeing what is without projection and/or disturbance.

When you successfully do this, you can then appropriately and effectively respond to/within the world in a way that does not entangle you in Karmic suffering and/or perpetual bondage with others.
